Upcoming ProjectsShadow Puppet Theatre and the Joseph Schneider Haus Present:Die Sterntaler Die Sterntaler was created specifically for the Puppets in Profile exhibit and in celebration of Joseph Schneider Haus' Green year. The Puppets and the play were designed in the style of German film artist Lotte Reiniger, who created the first known full length feature film Prince Achmed in 1920 using Shadow puppets. Die Sterntaler has been created to emulate the feel of one of Reiniger's silent films with very little dialogue so that the story is carried only by the visuals created by the shadow puppets.
